What insurance plans do you accept?

I accept most major insurance plans. Call me at (816) 264-4396 or email richardwelchlcsw@outlook.com to verify if I am an in-network provider for your insurance company.

Do you have a cash rate?

I charge $125 per hour. I accept major credit cards, checks or cash.

How many sessions will be necessary?

This depends upon the specific nature of your problem. Many problems are managed with 6-8 sessions.

How long are your sessions?

My sessions last approximately one hour.

What is your theoretical orientation?

I use what the psychological research shows works! I am very person-centered, strength-based, and I draw heavily from positive psychology.
